1. Introduction

Ecle Coastal LLC d/b/a PlanBill ("we," "us," or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on the PlanBill website and application. This Cookie Policy explains what cookies we use, why we use them, and how you can manage your preferences. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

2. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make sites work properly, to remember your preferences, and to understand how the site is used. "Similar technologies" includes local storage, session storage, and other mechanisms that store or access information on your device.

3. Cookies we use

AuthenticationStrictly necessarySession and refresh cookies set by our authentication provider (e.g., Supabase) so you stay signed in and we can verify your identity securely.
Organization selectionStrictly necessary / PreferenceWe store your selected organization ID (e.g., in a cookie such as org-id) so you do not have to reselect it on each visit.
Security and operationStrictly necessaryCookies used for security (e.g., CSRF), load balancing, and ensuring the site functions correctly.
AnalyticsOptional / AnalyticsWe do not currently use third-party analytics cookies. If we add analytics in the future, we will update this policy and, where required by law (e.g., in the EEA/UK), obtain your consent (e.g., via a cookie banner or preferences) before setting non-essential cookies.

We may use cookies set by third-party services we integrate with (e.g., payment providers). Their use of cookies is governed by their own policies.

5. Managing cookies

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies. Note that blocking or deleting strictly necessary cookies may affect the availability or functionality of the Service (e.g., you may not be able to stay signed in or we may not remember your organization). For more information, see your browser’s help or privacy settings.

Where required by law (e.g., in the EEA/UK under the ePrivacy Directive and GDPR), we will obtain your consent for non-essential cookies before setting them — for example via a cookie banner or preference center when you first visit the site. You can change your preferences at any time through your browser or any preference tool we provide.

6. Changes

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or in law. We will post the updated policy on this page and update the "Last updated" date.
